子曰:“其身正,不令而行;其身不正,
虽令不从。”
The Master said, “When a prince’s personal
conduct is correct, his government is effective
without the issuing of orders. If his personal conduct
is not correct, he may issue orders, but they will not
be followed.”
【译文】孔子说:“为政者自身行得正,不下命令,
老百姓也会照着你的意志行动;为政者自身
行得不正,即使下命令,老百姓也不会服从。”
【解读】正人先正己,以己作表率。为政者自
身正,就是最大的号召力,具有极强的感染力,
自身正,也会产生强大的向心力和执行力。
