子 疾 病， 子 路 请 祷。 子 曰：“ 有 诸？”
子路对曰：“有之。诔［1］曰：‘祷尔于上下
神 ［2］。’”子曰：“丘之祷久矣。”
The Master being very sick, Tsze-lu asked
leave to pray for him. He said, “May such a thing be
done?” Tsze-lu replied, “It may. In the Eulogies it is
said, ‘Prayer has been made for thee to the spirits of
the upper and lower worlds.’ ” The Master said, “My
praying has been for a long time.”

神祇（q!）：天神与地神。
【译文】孔子得了重病，子路请求祈祷。孔子说：
“有这种事吗？”子路回答说：“有。诔文
中说：‘为你向天神地祇祈祷。’”孔子说：
