子曰：“苟有用我者，期月［1］而已可也，
三年有成。”
The Master said, “If there were (any of the
princes) who would employ me, in the course of
twelve months, I should have done something
considerable. In three years, the government would
be perfected.”
【注释】［1］期（j~）：同“朞”。 期月：一周年。
【译文】孔子说：“如果有人用我治理国家，
一年就可以有成效，三年就能成功。”
【解读】怀才不遇，对有些人可能是一种打击，
甚至会被毁灭。但对孔子来说，胸怀远大目标、
实现美好的理想，是任何势力打压不下去的，
