子曰：“恶紫之夺朱也，恶郑声之乱雅［1］
乐也，恶利口之覆邦家者。”
The Master said, “I hate the manner in which
purple takes away the luster of vermilion. I hate
the way in which the songs of Chang confound the
music of the Ya. I hate those who with their sharp
mouths overthrow kingdoms and families.”
【注释】［1］雅：正。
【译文】孔子说：“憎恶紫色侵夺了红色的正
色地位，憎恶郑国的靡靡之音破坏了用于郊
庙朝会的传统正乐，憎恶巧嘴利舌颠覆国家
的人。”
【解读】宋邢昺《论语注疏》曰：“此章记孔
