季康子问：“弟子孰为好学？”孔子对曰：
“有颜回者好学，不幸短命死矣！今也则亡。”
Chi K’ang asked which of the disciples loved
to learn. Confucius replied to him, “There was Yen
Hui; he loved to learn. Unfortunately his appointed
time was short, and he died. Now there is no one
who loves to learn, as he did.”
【 译 文】 季 康 子 问 道：“ 弟 子 中 谁 最 好 学？”
孔子回答说：“有个叫颜回的好学，不幸短
命死了，现在则没有这么好学的了。”
【解读】颜回是孔子诸多弟子中最受孔子喜欢和
赞赏的学生，孔子在多个场合积极评价颜回，
这种喜欢毫不掩饰，溢于言表。孔子赞赏颜
回的一个重要原因就是颜回好学，好学既是
