子路曰：“桓公杀公子纠，召忽死之，
管 仲 不 死。” 曰：“ 未 仁 乎？” 子 曰：“ 桓
公九合诸侯，不以兵车，管仲之力也。如其仁！
如其仁！”
Tsze-lu said, “The duke Hwan caused his
brother Chiu to be killed, when Shao Hu died with
his master, but Kwan Chung did not die. May not I
say that he was wanting in virtue?” The Master said,
“The duke Hwan assembled all the princes together,
and that not with weapons of war and chariots:
it was all through the influence of Kwan Chung.
Whose beneficence was like his? Whose beneficence
was like his?”
【译文】子路说：“齐桓公杀了公子纠，召（sh3o）
忽为他而死，管仲不为他死。”接着又问：“这
