子曰：“臧武仲以防求为后于鲁，虽曰
不要君，吾不信也。”
The Master said, “Tsang Wu-chung, keeping
possession of Fang, asked of the duke of Lu to
appoint a successor to him in his family. Although
it may be said that he was not using force with his
sovereign, I believe he was.”
【译文】孔子说：“臧武仲凭借他的封地防邑
要求在鲁国立臧氏后嗣，虽有人说这不是要
挟国君，但是我不相信呀。”
【解读】虽然臧武仲的聪明才智得到了孔子的
赞赏，但是孔子认为臧武仲还没有达到“成人”
的标准。他在得罪鲁国的执政者之后，忘记
了大夫应遵循的准则，而是凭借防邑要挟鲁
