子谓子产［1］：“有君子之道四焉：其行
己也恭，其事上也敬，其养民也惠，其使民
也义。”
The Master said of Tsze-ch’an that he had
four of the characteristics of a superior man: in
his conduct of himself, he was humble; in serving
his superiors, he was respectful; in nourishing the
people, he was kind; in ordering the people, he was
just.
【注释】［1］子产：姓公孙，名侨，字子产。
郑国大夫。
【译文】孔子评论子产说：“他有四种君子德行：
修行自身谦恭，服事君上恭敬，养民仁惠，
使用民力合乎道义。”
