子见齐衰［1］者、冕衣裳者与瞽者，见之，
虽少，必作；过之，必趋。
When the Master saw a person in a mourning
dress, or any one with the cap and upper and
lower garments of full dress, or a blind person, on
observing them approaching, though they were
younger than himself, he would rise up, and if he
had to pass by them, he would do so hastily.
【注释】［1］齐衰（z~?cu~）：丧服中五服之第
二种。五服：指斩衰、齐衰、大功、小功、缌麻。
【译文】孔子遇到穿丧服的人、戴礼帽的人和
盲人，见到他们时，即使是年少，也一定起
身示敬；从他们身边经过，一定小步快走。
