子 曰：“ 不 逆［1］ 诈， 不 亿［2］ 不 信， 抑
亦先觉者，是贤乎！”
The Master said, “He who does not anticipate
attempts to deceive him, nor think beforehand of his
not being believed, and yet apprehends these things
readily (when they occur); — is he not a man of
superior worth?”
【注释】［1］逆：本义迎接，此义预先。［2］
亿：同“臆”，猜测。
【译文】孔子说：“不预先怀疑别人欺诈，不
臆测别人不诚实，却又能及早发现欺诈和不
诚实，这是贤德啊！”
【解读】这一章孔子表达了两层意思，第一做
