三家者以《雍》彻［1］。子曰：“‘相维
辟公［2］，天子穆穆’，奚取于三家之堂？”
The three families used the Yung ode, while
the vessels were being removed, at the conclusion
of the sacrifice. The Master said, “ ‘Assisting are the
princes; — the son of heaven looks profound and
grave’ — what application can these words have in
the hall of the three families?”
【注释】［1］三家：鲁国当政的三卿：孟孙、
叔孙、季孙。《雍》：《诗经·周颂》中的
一篇。彻：撤除。［2］相：助祭者。辟（b#）
公：诸侯。
【译文】孟孙、叔孙、季孙三家祭祖时唱着《雍》
诗来撤除祭品。孔子说：“《雍》诗云：‘助
