樊 迟 问 仁。 子 曰：“ 居 处 恭， 执 事 敬，
与人忠。虽之夷狄，不可弃也。”
Fan Ch’ih asked about perfect virtue. The
Master said, “It is, in retirement, to be sedately
grave; in the management of business, to be
reverently attentive; in intercourse with others, to
be strictly sincere. Though a man go among rude,
uncultivated tribes, these qualities may not be
neglected.”
【译文】樊迟问怎么做才是仁。孔子说：“居
家恭顺，办事认真敬慎，待人忠诚厚道。具
备了这样的仁德，即使到了边远少数民族之
地，人家也不会背弃你。”
【解读】居处恭、执事敬、与人忠，是仁德的
