In the intangible cultural heritage learning base of Yushan Academy in Licheng District of Jinan, the interview crew of the campaign “A look into innovation transformation and development of Chinese culture in Shandong” met Gao Yujie, an inheritor of the sand pottery sintering technique and founder of Chunni Creation Studio. Passionate about public benefit activities, Gao Yujie and his team proactively promote the sand pottery sintering technique to develop more social values from it. They have conducted nearly 100 public benefit workshops on the sand pottery sintering technique to communities and the disabled. More than 1,500 people have attended the workshops and 15 disabled trainees have received systematic training. The workshops have achieved double effects - interest cultivation and vocational training, as the trainees have both learned the technique and acquired a skill that will help them earn incomes.
