子路问政。子曰：“先之劳之。”请益。
曰：“无倦。”
Tsze-lu asked about government. The Master
said, “Go before the people with your example, and
be laborious in their affairs.” He requested further
instruction, and was answered, “Be not weary (in
these things).”
【译文】子路问为政之道。孔子说：“要先民
而劳，做好表率。”子路请求再多讲点。孔
子说：“不要倦怠。”
【解读】子路虽然有些鲁莽，但很认真，在孔
子的教导下为官从政的热情一直未减。孔子
就针对他的性格，有的放矢地回答他，尤其
指出要持之以恒，永不懈怠。历史上，统治
