The academic seminar "Confucianism, New Confucianism, and Post New Confucianism: Reflection on the Development of Contemporary Confucianism" opened on December 2 in Jinan, Shandong. More than 50 scholars from universities and research institutes such as Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Shandong University, Taipei University, Taiwan's Central University, Seoul University, and the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies attended the conference to examine and reflect on the development of contemporary Confucianism, and provide wisdom and strategies for its development.

The seminar includeskeynote speeches by experts and scholars who elaborated on key topics such as the current research status of contemporary Confucianism and East Asian Yiologystudies, the modern interpretation and creative transformation of Confucianism.

In addition to the opening ceremony and keynote speeches, there were7 group speeches, including innovative interpretations of traditional Confucian propositions such as Tiandao, Cosmology, Ontology, Epistemology, and the study of Ren, in-depth research on contemporary new Confucian pioneers such as Mou Zongsan, Xiong Shili, and Tang Junyi, as well as Confucian theoretical construction in response to modernity issues and adapting to the needs of the times.
