Themed “Poetry - Artificial Intelligence”, the eighth International Poetry Festival Kicks Off on December 2 at Zikamei Library in Shanghai.

During the four day period, a series of activities will be held in Jiang’an District Culture Center, Shanghai Library & the Poetry Forum, Sinan Books(Shige Outlet) and Jing’an Distric Library, including of the release ceremony of the special issue of “Shanghai Literature” featuring this festival, the “thoughts about poetry in face of AI”, the poetry recital performance, the “Light of Poetry”authors-readers meeting and the awarding ceremony of “A Good Book In My Eyes”, etc.

Shanghai International Poetry Festival was established in 2016, and this year has seen the largest number of countries and people invloved, with extensive participation by poets from the U.S., France, Italy, Poland, Belgium and Romania, etc.
