When Confucius was in Chen state, a falcon was shot to death and fell into the courtyard of Duke Min of Chen state. Confucius said, "This is an ancient arrow came from Sushen, an ancient minority." Then he added, "But the archer should be someone in Chen state. At that time, Sushen presented this kind of arrows to Duke Wu of Zhou dynasty as a tribute to overthrow the Shang dynasty. Later, Duke Wu gave some of these arrows to Chen state.
