The Opening Ceremonyof 2023 Youth Sinologist Training Program was successfully held on November 11th at Shandong Normal University in Jinan, Shandong Province. A total of 25 young sinologists from 24 countries attended.

At the opening ceremony, five young sinologists from Nepal, Georgia, Mauritius, Belarus, and Costa Rica gave speeches, telling their Chinese stories from different perspectives.

The 2023 Young Sinologists Training Program Shandong Class adopts a combination of mentor guidance, high-end academic lectures, and on-site inspections to enable young sinologists to personally study the outstanding characteristics of Chinese traditional culture and civilization. During the training period, these young sinologists will visit places such as Qufu and Dongying in Shandong Province for investigation.

It is reported that in 2023, the youngsinologists plan will includethree training courses in the provinces of Xinjiang, Shandong, and Shanghai.
