On November 8th, the 2023 China African Wood Carving Artist Creation Exchange Achievement Exhibition was held in Jinhua, Zhejiang.

The exhibition focuses on the theme of "Connecting the New Era" and showcases nearly 40 wood carving works created by 23 wood carving artists from 10 African countries during their creative exchange activities in China from 2017 to present.

Previously, the 2023 Chinese and African wood-carving artist creation exchange project was launched in Dongyang, Zhejiang. Seven artists from Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Central Africa and other countries were invited to Zhejiang for a 30-day wood-carving exchange.

As the creative exchange activities between Chinese and African wood carving artists are coming to an end, this exhibition aims to provide an opportunity and platform for Chinese and African artists to showcase and exchange ideas.
