The first Conference onthe Integrated Development of Culture and Technology was held in Beijing on September 7, and the Silk Road Planning Research Center's Art Development Think Tank was launched at the conference.

This conference is one of the series of events of the 2023 ZGC Forum and focuses on the theme of "promoting the integrated development of culture and technology". The conference featured four parallel sessions, during which in-depth discussions wereconducted on topics such as new modes for digital conservation of cultural relics, the empowerment of science and technology in cultural "going global", the technological support for the development of the digital cultural industry, and new approaches to overseas promotion of Chinese culture in the era of new media. The aim is to promote the integrated development of culture and technology, effectively facilitate the creative transformation and innovative development of the splendid Chinese traditional culture, and serve the "National Cultural Digitization Strategy".

The establishmentof Silk Road Planning Research Center's Art Development Think Tank was announcedat the conference. The Silk Road Planning Research Center, under the supervision of the General Office of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), is a professional and applied think tank dedicated to the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative. The establishment of the Art Development Think Tank aims to promote people-to-people connectivity along the "Belt and Road", using the outstanding Chinese traditional culture as a bond and making unique contributions to the construction of a community with a shared future for humanity through cultural and artistic endeavors.
