Chinese characters are an important medium for inheriting Chinese civilization. Inheriting Chinese characters is an important way to maintain the roots of Chinese culture and develop cultural identity. On the morning of March 7, the plaque unveiling ceremony for an oracle-themed exhibition was held at the Museum of World Languages, Shanghai International Studies University.

Those attending the event included students from Shanghai International Studies University and more than 30 international students from 12 countries, which are Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Russia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and Morocco.

The event consisted of the making of bookmarks using oracle bone scripts, oracle bone script jigsaws, woodblock printing, and oracle bone script rubbing. On the afternoon of the day, a lecture titled Knowledge of Oracle Bone Scriptswas conducted to unlock the secret to the characters.

It is understood that the National Museum of Chinese Writing has hosted many events to popularize oracle bone scripts in recent years, allowing visitors of different ages to feel the charm of the characters.
