The 1stFuxi Book Fair in Zhoukou, Henan, opened on the morning of March 6. The theme of the book fair is “A New Look of Millennia-Old Ancient Temple Fair Culture.”

Held both online and onsite, the book fair exhibits new books, good books, and distinctive cultural creative products to the general public, tourists, readers, and libraries in a bid to foster an atmosphere for people to develop an interest in reading, read good books, and excel at reading, which will meet their cultural consumption needs.

The event will last until March 10. During the period, more than 30 highly influential and noted publishers will offer books with strong tones and superb readability to the general public and students. In addition, the event will consist of various reading activities, including guided reading, celebrities’lectures, sharing of readings, digital reading experience, and the chanting of classics, to help build the social atmosphere of “developing an interest in reading, reading good books, and excelling at reading”and make the “millennia-old ancient temple fair”take on “a new cultural look.”
