From February 26 to 28, the “Confucian Studies and Communication Symposium and Members’Exchange Conference”was held in Qufu. The event was hosted jointly by the Member Liaison Commission of the International Confucian Association and the Confucius Institute of the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies and organized by the Confucius Institute’s Research Base for the Exchange and Mutual Learning Between Chinese and Foreign Civilizations.

More than 50 experts and scholars from nearly 30 member units assembled in Qufu to share their ideas on Confucianism and their experience in studying and spreading excellent traditional cultures. They were briefed on the member units’opinions and suggestions on the work of the association. A members’reading session was also held during the conference.

The representatives from the member units had heated and in-depth discussions about their units’work in recent years, centered around the theme “Experience in Studying and Spreading Confucianism and Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture.”They summarized successful experiences, looked into future work, and expressed their deep thoughts on the work of the association.
