On February 25, Mr. Zhang Jiazheng, the Chinese director of Confucius Institute of Khon Kaen University in Thailand, watched the Chinese Language Camp with the theme of “Exploring the Chinese Language and Culture”at the Watklang Municipal School.

During the event, the students of Watklang Municipal School performed Chinese martial arts and dances for the guests, teachers and students, and sang classic Chinese songs, drawing thunderous applause from the audience.

Watklang Municipal School features Chinese language education. Chinese classes are now required for all students at the school as of 2018. This event further strengthened the cooperation between Confucius Institute of Kong Kaen University and Watklang Municipal School.
