In recent days, diverseactivities wereheld around the world to celebrate the Spring Festival. People worldwide have been immersed in traditional Chinese culture and feeling the joy and vitality brought by the the Festival.

The China Cultural Centre in Auckland and New Zealand Huaxing Arts Troupe hosted the 2023 New Zealand Chinese Spring FestivalGala. The gala, unveiled by New Zealand Maori Haka and traditional welcome ritual, also featuredChinese Peking Opera, crosstalk and magic and won warm applause from nearly 1,000 audience members.

The Smithsonian Institution’s American Art Museum hosted a family day on January 28to bless the American people in the Year of the Rabbit, attracting over 10,000 visitors. During the event, local cultural groups presentedtraditional Chinese performances. There wasalso clay sculpture demonstration and teaching, Chinese painting experience, calligraphy performanceand so forth.

On January 30,Russian and Chinese musicians performed classical pieces at a concert inthe Catherine PalaceAuditorium in St. Petersburg, Russia, greeted by warm applause. Before the concert, dozens of models dressed in Chinese national costumes put on a spectacular show.

The ChinaCultural Center in Madrid, Spain, held an exhibition of works by Chinese and Spanish female artists during the Spring Festival. With the interaction and fusion of different cultural perspectives, artists engaged ina unique art dialogue.
