The 10th Cross-Strait Cultural Development Forum opened in Fujian Normal University on November 25.More than 170 experts and scholars from scientific research institutions,colleges and universitieson both sides of the Taiwan Strait attended the forum, focusing on the in-depth and diversified discussions on the theme of "Cross-Strait Culture Convergence toPromoteChinese Modernization".

The forum has set up five sub-forums, including Cross-Strait history and culture, Cross-Strait education integration and development, Cross-Strait literature new vision, Cross-Strait culture and art integration, and Cross-Strait Young Scholars Forum. The participants discussed 10 topics, such as "Cross-Strait cultural and educational exchanges and cooperation", "Cross-Strait Literature and Chinese cultural inheritance and innovation", and "Cross-Strait historiography and exploration of the origin of Chinese national thought", covering a wide range of disciplines and fields.

The Cross-Strait Cultural Development Forum, which has been held for nine sessions since its inception in 2013, has developed into an important platform for scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to exchange ideas and deepen cooperation.
