Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies eyes the establishment of another six branches

The Inauguration Ceremony of Branches of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies was held in Zoucheng City, Shandong Province on August 17. The branches inaugurated on this occasion include those of Beijing Normal University, Jilin University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Nankai University and Lanzhou University.
Previously, a number of domestic branches have been set up in the topuniversities like Renmin University of China, Shandong University, Tsinghua University, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Fudan University, Wuhan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Sichuan University, as well as overseas branches of universities like Durban University of Technology in South Africa, University of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Krirk University in Thailand. Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies now has 17 branches at home and abroad.
The Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies has always been operating under the working mechanism of "one center plusmultiple branches", with a view tofurther enhancing the global presence and voice in the field of fine traditional Chinese culture, including Confucianism. Over the past three years, thesebranches have played an important role in providing high-quality courses, research projects, talenttraining and academic researchby taking advantage of their respective resources in researchandfaculty.
