On October 24, the opening ceremony of the special exhibition of the essence of Shandong Ancient civilization was held at the Art Museum of Tsinghua University. This is the first large-scale comprehensive exhibition held in Beijing by Shandong Province to comprehensively reflect the history of Shandong's ancient civilization, and it is also the largest exhibition held since the opening of the Tsinghua University Art Museum.

This exhibition, featuringnearly 440 sets of fine cultural relics, links up the development of Shandong ancient civilization and the origin, inheritance and development of Chinese “etiquette”philosophy, exploresintoancient wisdom, interprets China to the world, and highlights the important role of Shandong as the origin of “orientalcivilization”in the historical process of Chinese civilization development. The exhibition is divided into seven units, showing the oriental cultural genes and thedevelopment process of Chinese civilization from different angles.

At the opening ceremony, the “Cultural Relics in Shandong”passport-stampingactivity was launchedat the museum, and representatives of teachers and students of Tsinghua University were presented with thestamped “passports.”
