On February 18, a press corps, aimed at promotingthe traditional culture, came toNishan Sacred Land, Jining City, as the first stop in an ongoing press tour.

A large-scale musical performance titled “Chime Tribute to Confucius”was staged at the Hall of Great Learning.It features the “rites and music culture”and chronicles Confucius’s life and his transformation into a sage.The magnificent performance, combined with music and light shows, restores the glory of the institutions of higher learning during the Spring and Autumn period, drawing bursts of applause from the audience.

Blessed with the centuries-old Confucian culture, Nishan Sacred Land hasbeen breaking new ground while preserving traditions and creating new attractions. Anumber of live performanceswere launched, a variety of study tours designed,and cultural and creative productsdeveloped, so that the traditional culture has become more palpable to the audience.
