The 7th Silk Road International Arts Festival Opens in Xi’an

The 7th Silk Road International Arts Festival opened in Xi’an on the evening of December 1, attracting participants from over 20 countries and regions involved in over 40 exhibitions and performances.

It is reported that, since 2014, the Silk Road International Arts Festival has been successfully held for six times. It has become an important brand for Shaanxi to build a new starting point for the Silk Road Economic Belt, and an important activity that promotes mutual learning and people-to-people exchanges among countries (regions) along the Silk Road.

The 7th Silk Road International Arts Festival was held both online and offline, with more than 40 activities in four major sections: opening and closing ceremonies, cultural performances, art exhibitions, and art forums.

This art festival continues to uphold the concept of "peace, harmony, and cooperation", focuses on the three themes of "the center of the Silk Road, Chinese culture, and international elements", and strive to be "a grand gathering of Silk Road art, a bridge connecting people's hearts, and a festival of the people." The purpose of the festival is to build bridges of cultural exchanges and cooperation with excellent literary works at home and abroad, and promote the development of cultural integration between China and foreign countries.
