Recently,14 international students from Shandong University of Science and Technology,includingRussia, Thailand, Indonesia, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan and other countriesparticipated inthe “China, an Opportunity” event duringthe first Qingdao Liyuan Comedy Festival toappreciatethe vivid and lively urban atmosphere, imaginative comedy atmosphere, and unique "street dramas"with Liyuan Courtyardas the stage and numerous comedy elements.

The first Qingdao Liyuan Comedy Festival is themed under "a street full of dramas", which wasdivided into three majorparts:Comedy Special Performancein Liyuan Little Theater, Comedy Carnival and Music Party. International students strolledalong Sifang Road and Huangdao Road, experiencing a brand-new experience brought by the perfect fusion of ancient architecture and modern comedy art.And during the visit, international students were attracted by the innovative comedy performance format andtook manyphotos.

After the visit, international students expressed that they were deeplyattracted by the Qingdao Liyuan Comedy Festival, and theperfect fusion of ancient courtyard architecture and modern comedy performances has broughtthema unique experience. Through this activity,theyhavegained a deeper understanding of Chinese cultural innovation and had a greater love for this vibrant city-Qingdao.
