Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Unveiled in Chengdu

On the afternoon of January 7, the Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, organized by Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Chengdu (CDETO), opened in Chengdu.
With lively illustrations, videos and display devices, the exhibition showcases 12 items of national intangible cultural heritage of Hong Kong, including Cantonese Opera, Herbal Tea, Cheung Chau Bun Festival, the Dragon Boat Parade of Tai O, the Fire Dragon Dance of Tai Hang, the Hakka Unicorn Dance in Hang Hau, Sai Kung, Guqin Art, manufacturing skills of making Chinese-style gown, Mazu sacrificial ceremonyofHong Kong, attracting more people from Mainland of China to have a better understanding of the intangible culture of Hong Kong and leading to the further enhancement of cultural and artistic understanding and cooperation between the Mainland and Hong Kong.
The exhibition is free and open to all members of the public and will run until January 21st.
