Recently, the Shandong Cultural Relics Protection, Restoration and Identification Center was inaugurated in Jinan. The center is mainly responsible for the investigation, protection and restoration of movable cultural relics, project acceptance, organization and technical support of various cultural relics identification, as well as research,technical promotion, academic exchangeon cultural relics restoration and identification, and training of talents.

At the establishment ceremony, the "Cultural Relics Science and technology Identification Research Innovation Alliance" was also established with Shandong Analysis and Testing Center, Shandong Fiber Quality Monitoring Center, Shandong Academy of Geological Sciences and other units.The alliance units signed acooperation agreement, aiming toestablishinterdisciplinary, cross-industry, cross-department cooperation relations, and form an authoritative community in technology identificationof cultural relics with innovative mechanism, sharedresourcesand coornidation.
