The award ceremony of the 2023 Beijing Central Axis Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Innovation Competition was held in the Capital Museum on January 7, and 302 works or contestants were awarded.

The 2023 competition, whichincludesfive“race tracks”featuring cultural appeal, artistry, cultural celebrities, cultural creationand digital technology respectivily, lasted more than 7 monthswithnearly 300,000 peopleinvolved. It is worth mentioning that the post-00 and post-10 groups accounted for 80.69% of the candidates, and the awareness of young people on the traditional culture of the Beijing central axis has been significantly improved, which also highlights the identity of the younggenerationtothe excellent traditional Chinese culture.

On the same day, the first batch of 30 Beijing Central Axis cultural heritage protection supervisors was announced, bringing together representatives from various fields such as street communities, cultural institutions, cultural tourism, cultural communication, literature and art, time-honored brands, digital technology, and school education, who will provide supportto the professional supervision and management services of various cultural relics protection departments.
