The 2023 Wuhan Poetry Festival opened on December 16 at Zhuo’er Bookstore in Jiang'an District, Wuhan. Famous poets, writers, and critics such as Ye Yanbin and Yang Ke gathered in Wuhan to share their literary insights and explore the development trends of new poetry.

This poetry festival will last for 3 days, during which a series of activities will be held, including the 14th Wen Yiduo Poetry Award selection and awards, the "Heart of Poetry" New Book Sharing Conferencebetween poets and audience, and the "Bright Star" Poetry Concert.

Wuhan has a long history and profound cultural heritage. Scholars such as Li Bai and Cui Hao have left their poems here, which are well-known to later generations. The Wuhan Poetry Festival has been held for eight sessions and has become an important leading cultural activity for building urban spiritual life.
