The Grottoes Art Immersive Exhibition officially opened to the public at the National Museum of China on December 9. Giant digital Imaging and immersive viewing are the biggest highlights of this experience.

With the lotus flower in full bloom as the core of design, the exhibition includes "art time and space experience area", "teaching interactive experience area" and "derivative artifacts area", which together form a panoramic immersive experience environment. Artists have combined digital imaging, digital 3D Mapping images and AI algorithms to express, explore and interpret the artistic styles and rich connotations of the Kizil Grottoes, Mogao Grottoes, Maijishan Grottoes, Yungang Grottoes and Longmen Grottoes.

This immersive experience is a concrete measure for the revitalization of grotto art, opening a new perspective of analyzing and viewing of grotto art, and making a breakthrough on the basic mode of traditional immovable cultural relics display at the technical and perceptual level.
