On November 11th, the academic seminar on "Internationalization of Confucianism - Overseas Confucianism" organized by the editorial department of "ConfuciusStudies" was held in Jinan, Shandong. The theme of the conference is "The Internationalization of Confucianism: Current Status and Future Trends of Overseas Confucianism".

Nearly 20 experts and scholars from Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Wuhan University, East China Normal University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Nishan World Centerfor Confucian Studiesattended the conference. They conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions around the theme, including overseas dissemination of Chinese classics, investigation of the development of Confucianism abroad, the research achievements of foreign scholars on Chinese culture, and the comparison and interaction of Chinese and Western ideas.

As an important column ofthe journalConfucius Studies,“Overseas Confucianism”has made positive contributions to strengthening overseas Confucianism research and showcasing the overall appearance of Confucianism in the world. This seminar will better leverage the ideological value of Confucianism and contribute to the promotion of Chinese culture going global and promoting the common values of all humanity.
