A delegation led by the South Korean Confucius Cultural Center paying an exchange visit to Jiangxi

From August 1 to 3, Park Hongyoung, President of the South Korean Confucius Cultural Center, Wang Chengshan, former Editor-in-Chief of www.chinakongzi.org, and Chen Simin, Director of the Planning Department of the South Korean Confucius Cultural Center, visited such entities and institutions as Jiangxi Investment and Development Group of Heat-sensitive Moxibustion Health Industry, Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine, Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Bailudong Academy. Jin Dezhong, Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation of Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine, accompanied on the visit.

The delegation first visited Jiangxi Investment and Development Group of Heat-sensitive Moxibustion Health Industry. As a kind of traditional Chinese medicine therapy, heat-sensitive moxibustion combines heat-sensitive moxibustion instruments with Chinese herbal medicines to provide warm stimulation to the body's acupoints, promoting the regulation of qi and blood and improving the health of the human body.

The delegation also made a visit to Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine and Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., during which they learned about Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical's efforts and achievements in the research and production of Chinese herbal medicines over the years. They also held a symposium on traditional Chinese medicine at Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine.

South Korean Confucius Cultural Center is committed to spreading and carrying forward Chinese traditional culture. The Center made this visit in the hope of carrying forward traditional Chinese medicine culture, promoting the in-depth exchanges between China and South Korea in traditional Chinese medicine and traditional culture, and contributing to the health of the two peoples.

On August 3, the delegation paid visits to two time-honored cultural sites in Jiangxi - Bailudong Academy and Tengwang Pavilion. They gained a deep understanding of the important role of academies in the development of ancient Chinese culture and education, as well as the historical allusions associated with Tengwang Pavilion. This enhanced their knowledge and understanding of Jiangxi's history and humanity.
