With the theme of “Mutual Learning and Win-Win Cooperation on the Silk Road”, the“2023 Silk Road Week”kicked off at China Silk Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

At the opening ceremony, the Annual Report on Silk Road Cultural Heritage 2022was released, whichcomprehensively recordsand sortsout the top 10 lists of the 4 major sectors of the world Silk Road cultural heritage in 2022: archaeological discoveries, thematic exhibitions, academic achievements and cultural events.

It is reported that during the "Silk Road Week", a series of exhibitions, academic seminars and activities such as theSilk Road educational excursion, the campusSilk Road cultural display, the relayon Silk Road cultural relics posters, and the "100selected piecesfrom 100musuems" short video relay will be held.

The Silk Road is an ancient trade route that connectesthe two civilizations of China and the West, and the Chinese cultural heritage community has made in-depth efforts in promoting the spirit of the Silk Road. The “Silk Road Week”, co-sponsored by the NationalCultural HeritageAdministration and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, has been held in Hangzhou for 3 consecutive years and has become a longstandingannual international cultural exchange event.
