The Yellow River Culture Forum, co-sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the China Public Relations Association and Shandong Provincial People’s Government, kicked off on April 18 in Dongying, E China’s Shandong province.

With the theme of “promoting the Yellow River culture and telling the Yellow River story”, the forum aims to further study and implement the major national strategy of ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, explore the rich connotation and value of the times of the Yellow River culture, and push forward the practice of Chinese-style modernization.

Experts, scholars and guests from all over the country gathered in Dongying to explore the path of the protection, inheritance and development of the Yellow River culture and polish the business card of Yellow River culture in the new era.

Highlighting academic background and humanistic characteristics, the forum consists of keynote speeches and seminars. At the opening ceremony, a series of events were held, including the signing ceremony of agreement on international communication of the Yellow River culture among nine provinces (municipalities) and the establishment of a cooperation system.
