“A World of Coexistence—2022 Jinan International Biennale” is held in Jinan from January 7, 2023 to April 2, 2023. “A World of Coexistence,” the theme of the exhibition, contains five dimensions: coexistence between modernity and tradition, between people and nature, between territory and the world, between reality and virtuality, and between art and technology.

272 high-quality contemporary art pieces created by 221 artists from 22 countries and regions, including the United States, the UK, Japan, and Argentina, are brought together in the city of springs. The exhibition displays a large number of technology-based works, including AR, VR, human-machine interaction, 3D printing, and image interaction. Many new technologies and approaches are applied at the exhibition to emphasize interactivity and participation and promote the integration of art and technology.

There are two main exhibition areas: the Shandong Art Museum and the Jinan Art Museum. The exhibition also goes beyond the art museums to display some exhibits at a number of colleges and universities in Jinan, cultural and creative parks, and private and community art museums, covering the whole city of Jinan. Held both online and onsite, the exhibition has a virtual exhibition hall to conduct online academic lectures and give livestream guidance, providing the audience with more diverse and convenient services. The exhibition will last until April 2, 2023.
