Founded in the 1st year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1736 AD), Jilin Confucius Temple is located at No.2 Nanchang Road, Changyi District, Jilin City, Jilin Province, covering a total area of 16,354 square meters. Jilin Confucius Temple is a group of classical buildings with eastern architectural characteristics, which imitates the imperial palace. The establishment of the temple is the recognition of the Qing government for the introduction of Han culture into northeast China, and the historical evidence of the interaction between Han culture and minority cultures in the northeast. The construction of Jilin Confucius Temple has promoted the integration of Manchu and Han culture.
