On the morning of June 1st, the Shandong Works Exhibition of the 14thNational Exhibition of Fine Arts, featuring Chinese painting and oil painting, kicked off in Shandong Art Museum, attracting a crowd of art enthusiasts.

The National Exhibition of Fine Arts is the largest and highest level national comprehensive fine arts exhibition in China. During the provincial exhibition in Shandong, a total of 91 outstanding works and 306 qualified works were ultimately exhibited.Experts judges have highly praised these works, acknowledging that Shandong, a province renowned for its art, imbues its painters with profound cultural connotations, enabling their works to showcase the grand and vigorous artistic features of the Qilu school of painting and fully embody the uniqueShandong style.

In this selection, a significant number of young artists,a majority of whom were born in the 1980s and 1990s,have distinguished themselves. Their innovative and vibrant creations have injected a fresh energy into the flouring art scene of Shandong.

It’s reported that the exhibition will last until July 14. The outstanding works, which have been submitted to the Chinese Painting and Oil painting Exhibition of the National Exhibition of Fine Arts for the final competition, will be exhibited until June 5th.
