Beijing Grand Canal Museum (East Hall of Capital Museum) officially opened to the public on December 27.

Atits opening, Beijing Grand Canal Museum has launched four types of exhibitions, including: basic exhibition, special exhibition, open exhibition and temporary exhibition. The cultural relics on display are rich and diverse, with high historical and artistic value. Located on the second floor of the exhibition building, "Beijing Tonghui Canal Yongji - Historical and Cultural Exhibition of Beijing and the Grand Canal" outlines the historical changes of the Grand Canal through more than 1,000 cultural relics and works of art in eight chapters.

It is known thatin 2024, Beijing Grand Canal Museum will also launch the "Palace Museum Collection of Ancient color glaze porcelain Exhibition", "Beijing Cultural Relics Exchange Center Collection Exhibition" and "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development special exhibition".
