On the morning of March 5, the Fifth Session of the Thirteenth National People's Congress was grandly opened. Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council delivered a government work report to the Congress on behalf of the State Council. After listening to the report on the spot, Song Wenxin, a representative of the National People's Congress, said that he has his own proposals on how to carry forward the fine traditional Chinese culture.

　　Song Wenxin said that Chinese culture is extensive and profound. In the new era, in order to carry forward the fine traditional Chinese culture, we can make further explorations in three aspects: starting point, path and innovation. Specifically, we must act proactively to inherit, carry forward and seek innovations for traditional culture.

　　Shandong is rich in cultural resources and is the birthplace of Confucian culture. Mount Tai rises here, the Yellow River empties into the sea here, and Confucius was born here. In November 2013, General Secretary Xi Jinping had an inspection tour to Shandong and requested to promote the creative transformation and innovative development of fine Chinese traditional culture. Shandong must keep in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions, focus on building a pilot area for promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of fine Chinese traditional culture, rise up to the duty of being the guardian and inheritor of fine traditional culture, as well as to be a pathfinder and pioneer for the creative transformation and innovative development.
