Red Qinqiang modern drama "Yellow River Bay Chronicle" premiered in Weinan

On the evening of February 28, the large-scale modern Qinqiang revolutionary drama "Yellow River Bay Chronicle" created by the Qinqiang Opera Troupe of Tongguan County premiered at the Weinan Grand Theater.

The play is based on the Weihua Uprising, the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation. It tells the touching story of the masses' Bai Yulan who sacrificed her own son to support the revolution and protect the orphans of Communist Party members. In recognition of the unremitting efforts and great sacrifices made by the people of Tongguan for national independence, freedom and liberation, they enthusiastically praised the Chinese nation's persevering character and great national spirit.

"Yellow River Bay Chronicle" takes the Red Revolution story as the main line and integrates the local characteristics of Tongguan’s history, geography, humanities and other elements of the Yellow River culture. It is the implementation of the Yellow River Basin ecological protection and high-quality development strategy by Tongguan County, protection and inheritance of the Yellow River culture, and a gift A masterpiece of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The play was specially invited by the Shaanxi Provincial Academy of Traditional Chinese Opera Center first-level director Wang Huawu to direct the performance, the national first-level actor, the Chinese drama "Plum Blossom Award" winner Wei Xiaoli, the national first-level actor Lei Tao and other outstanding actors participated in the performance.
