Shahbaz Khan: Family Culture and Sustainable Development: Policy, Communication, and Global Cooperation

UNESCO emphasizes that family culture is closely related to sustainable development, and that families are crucial to achieving sustainable development goals in resource allocation, education, community participation, and other aspects. At the Family Culture Symposium of the 10th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations, Shahbaz Khan, Director of the UNESCO East Asia Multi-Sector Regional Office, pointed out that in order to achieve sustainable development goals, governments need to formulate policies centered on families, promote cross-cultural exchanges, and respect cultural diversity. At the same time, attention should be paid to gender equality, empowering women, and the role of skills, cultural heritage, and creativity in sustainable urban construction
