The “Classics of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture: Exhibition on Fine Worksof China Calligraphy and Seal Cutting” was opened on the sacred land of Nishan, Qufu,on the morning of September 26. It was the first cultural exhibition of the 2022 China (Qufu) International Confucius Cultural Festival and The Eighth Nishan Forum on World Civilizations.

The exhibits came from members of the eighth session of the Presidium, consultants, members, and some members of the expert committees of the China Calligraphers Association, as well as members of the Xiling Sealing Art Society. They had created 200 pieces of fine calligraphy and seal cutting works depicting classic quotes from traditional Chinese culture, once quoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping. Rooted in traditional Chinese culture, the works were designed with ingenuity and superb skills, representing the achievements made in contemporary calligraphy and seal cutting. The exhibition will last on a long-term basis to showcase the great charm of the Chinese nation’s gems to enthusiasts of calligraphy and seal cutting.
