"Study Tour of 100 Doctoral Candidates in Shandong" of the Joint Graduate School of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies Concludes in Qufu

 A meeting to conclude the "Study Tour of 100 Doctoral Candidates in Shandong" of the Joint Graduate School of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies was held on the evening of September 29th in Qufu, Shandong. Guo Chengyan, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies, Deputy Director and Secretary-General of China Confucius Foundation and Party Secretary of Confucius Research Institute addressed the meeting. 

 Guo Chengyan put forward clear-cut requirements and sincere expectations to the 2021 Confucianism doctoral candidates. The first is to achieve a combination of "learning, thinking, comprehension and action"; the second is to continue to do a good job in the follow-up work of the "Study Tour of 100 Doctoral Candidates in Shandong" event; the third is to consciously promote the dissemination and popularization of fine traditional Chinese culture; the fourth is to actively participate in the building of the "Four Highlights" of f Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies.

 Three student representatives from the Joint Graduate School gave a speech. They believed that the "Study Tour of 100 Doctoral Candidates in Shandong" event included diversified activities. They visited the Confucius Research Institute and the Confucius Museum, participated in the 7th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations and Confucius Memorial Ceremony, listened to dialogues between domestic and foreign experts and scholars, exchanged views and studied with students, fostered friendship, broadened horizons, enriched knowledge, received an all-round improvement, and felt the unique charm of Qilu culture and the profound Confucian culture.

 At the meeting, China Confucius Foundation proposed a volunteer initiative to the doctoral candidates and presented volunteer certificates to all the participating students.
