　　The 2021 China (Qufu) International Confucius Cultural Festival and the 7th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations opened in Qufu, Shandong, on September 27th. Over 500 scholars and guests attended the opening ceremony on site and via video link.

　　Themed with “Dialogue among Civilizations and Global Cooperation”, this event responded to current situations, and reflected the importance of strengthening understanding and exchanges among civilizations, and the urgency of promoting global cooperation.

This year’s International Confucius Cultural Festival and the 7th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations included 30 activities such as keynote speeches, high-level dialogues, and youth forums. Through exchanges, integration, and convergence, we can more deeply understand the fine traditional Chinese culture represented by Confucianism is closely connected to the common values of peace, development, fairness, justice, democracy, and freedom. It is an important contribution of the Chinese nation to human civilization and provides a spiritual source for the integration among different civilizations.
